Interim policies for the design comp. Final policies will be reviewed by the trustees and a legal adviser before publication.
The Foundation works with children, young people and vulnerable adults. A full safeguarding policy is being drafted with an external adviser and will be published before the first programme opens.
In the interim: all facilitators and volunteers will be vetted and trained; no adult works alone with a child; concerns are reported to the Trustee Secretary and, where required, to the appropriate authorities.
Anyone with a concern about the safety of a child or adult in a Foundation programme can raise it with the Trustee Secretary at the registered office. Concerns are taken seriously, handled in confidence, and never held against the person raising them.
