Digital Futures Skills Programme
A free twelve-week course in core digital skills, digital marketing, data analytics, coding basics, digital finance and online safety, followed by six months of mentoring into work or further study.

Most young Nigerians leave school able to usea phone and unable to use a spreadsheet. Thisprogramme closes that gap and then stays withpeople until it pays off.
The programme is for people aged 18 to 30 who have finished secondary school and are not in full-time work or study. No prior computer experience is needed. Cohorts of 24 run in Abuja and Kano, with priority places for women and for applicants from peri-urban communities. Each cohort spends twelve weeks in a shared classroom, then six months in a mentored track that leads towards a job, a freelance income or a further course.

Evenings and weekends, borrowed laptops, realassignments from partner employers, and amentor who checks in every fortnight for sixmonths.
Training is delivered by local facilitators in a community centre or partner school. The curriculum moves from core digital literacy to data basics, online safety and freelance readiness, with assignments set by partner employers so that the work is real from week one. After graduation, each participant is matched with a mentor and one of three tracks: employment, freelance income or further study. We track progress at three and six months and publish the results.
